Distance Learning Support Is Available
Parents.com says it best: Homeschooling is a progressive movement around the country and the world, in which parents educate their children at home instead of sending them to a traditional public or private school.
As a homeschool diploma granting organization with Pennsylvania Department of Education, MYS is very passionate about the well-being of youth and families. We provide services that help build and strengthen homeschool communities by providing resources and information regarding homeschool regulations, curriculum choices, intervention options, classes, events, co-ops & meet-up opportunities.
Through our homeschool academy (MYS Academy), we deliver fun learning right to your door. Covid-19 has caused parents to now become teachers and guidance counselors. You have been left with the task of developing lesson plans and finding ways to actively keep your learner engaged. You find yourself having to balance work from home responsibilities along with keeping up with your learner's new homeschool life and online coursework.
Our Success Guides are trained to provide each learner with quality one on one support and assistance to navigate their learning management platform and complete their virtual lessons. With MYS Success Guides, parents are able to work from their home office, run errands, take care of household needs and are able to breathe knowing that their learner is receiving the very best academic support and guidance. Our Success Guides are here to help you and fill the gap.
Our academy provides an environment where learners can manage their time between lessons and skill-building with the support of a daily schedule. The center serves learners in Philadelphia and surrounding areas.
